Welcome to ICTVT 2019

BACKGROUND

Integrating internet-based in manufacturing process has become the current trend of industrial revolution. This revolution era, made possible through the development of the Unseen Internet to indirectly communicate with users, is often referred to as smart industry. Actuators and sensors, embedded in everyday “things” surrounded people, are interconnected and made them smart to dynamically adapt people’s needs. As impact of this era, automation and data are two main important concepts for being able to tune to customer needs, creating a high degree of flexibility in production, improving efficiency and cost, volume, timing, and completing supply chain.

Due to the current revolution era, finding the right competency on technology and its vocation become challenging issue in the labor market and educational institutions. This huge effect brings positively or negatively impact regarding to people, industries, and educational system. New profession with qualified and educated employees emerges to tackle the technologies related to smart industry. Industry and educational institution have to collaborate with same vision for obtaining workforce with appropriate skill and qualification.

The 5th International Conference on Technology and Vocational Teachers (ICTVT 2019) is dedicated to a unified communication platform for professional practice in engineering fields, researchers, and vocational teachers from industry, academia and government. The professional practice in engineering fields include electrical technology, electronics technology, informatics technology, mechanical technology, civil technology, and vocational technology. The ICTVT 2019 conference is also welcome for researchers who have interdisciplinary collaboration of science and technology.

All presented papers will be submitted in the proceedings of ICTVT 2019.
